The finals for the 2022 Women’s Physique Olympia wrapped up on Friday evening (Dec. 16, 2022) with Natalia Abraham Coelho upsetting the two-time Women’s Physique Olympia Sarah Villegas. When the dust settled, Villegas finished runner-up and Brooke Walker placed third after outlasting a field of over 20 competitors.

During the off-season, the bodybuilding community was confident in Sarah Villegas, whose conditioning, shape, and proportions seemed to be on another level. On top of sporting an insanely shredded physique, Sarah’s completeness and poise always made her an absolute menace on stage.

Since taking the crown at 2020 Olympia, Sarah defended it successfully at 2021 Olympia. At this weekend’s 2022 Olympia Weekend, however, Villegas faced adversity from last year’s contenders, Barbara Menage, Brooke Walker, and Natalia Abraham Coelho

Sarah Villegas emerged as the top threat to take home the title as the event progressed. Natalia Abraham Coelho, who brought insanely separated abs, managed to upset Sarah by the end of finals. Meanwhile, Brooke Walker, Barbara Menage, and Ivie Rhein wrapped up the finals finishing third, fourth, and fifth.
