Joe Weider’s 59th annual Mr. Olympia and Performance Weekend saw competitors from the Fitness category conclude an exciting show, which started at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3. In the end, Oksana Grishina pulled off a massive fifth win with an unforgettable individual routine.
The Fitness division is one of the most entertaining contests on the Olympia schedule. They are known for spectacular displays, complete with acrobatics, flips, and other daring feats of strength. This year was no different as competitors fought tooth and nail for a shot at the world’s most coveted title.
Last year, Missy Truscott left no doubt among the judges and walked away as a two-time Ms. Olympia Fitness champion. Baker, Truscott, and Khadr brought the heat during the prejudging rounds. However, in the finals, it was Oksana Grishina and Taylr Learmont vying for gold. After a closely fought battle, Oksana Grishina took home another title. Former champion Missy Truscott ended up bowing out with a knee injury.
