Julia Vins is one of the most deceptively strong female powerlifters in the world. She showed off her skills recently, with an impressive squat session in the gym.
Vins is an extremely popular powerlifter, known for having a beautiful doll-like face. However when it comes time to hit the gym, she can outlift almost anybody, including her make counterparts. Not to mention, she gives pretty good fitness advice, too.
However, it was not her advice that has us talking about Julia Vins today. She was recently in the gym, doing a solid workout session when she decides to absolutely crush a massive squat. A video posted to her Instagram shows the impressive 240kg (529lb) squat, with an added 35kg (77lb) from chains.
Check it out:
“240 kg + 35 kg chains
It was a great time in Finland with @kalle_rs . Thank you for letting me stay in your house, for productive workouts and advices you gave me 💪🏻
Can’t wait to see you again 😊”
This is quite a strong performance from Vins. She does not typically do weight training with chains, but that did not take away from how impressive she looked with them here. It seems like Kalle Räsänen may be to thank for how much she has improved. Here she is last summer, working with him again, this time to crush a junior world record with a 245kg squat. This happened at a contest that Kalle was hosting, last year in Finland.

Two weeks ago I took part in the competition in Finland ( hosted by my friend @kalle_rs ) For the first time in a long time, my weight class was 60 kg The last 5 years I competed in 67 weight category It was an interesting experience for me. I managed to show good results. In the video, a new junior world record in squat 245 kg In the bench press, I had some problems because of weight loss, so only 135 kg (my best bench press is 150 kg at last competitions) Deadlift 180 This was my first experience in cutting weight before competition so I felt my muscles were empty But I have already begun to correct mistakes and started a new preparation Many thanks to my sponsor @titanpower81 for best powerlifting gear in the world ❤️ @openpowerlifting #powerlifting
If there is one thing that we can learn from Julia Vins, it is that she is truly beginning to turn a corner and make massive improvements in the gym. Every time we see this young lady, she seems to be getting better, and the stronger she gets, the more she seems to be a character in a video game. Nevertheless, it is still awesome to see these gains.
