Bodybuilder Martin Fitzwater is riding massive hype heading into the 2025 bodybuilding season. In a recent Instagram post shared on February 13, 2025, ‘The Martian’ revealed his current steroid cycle as he sets his sights on a victory at the Pittsburgh Pro.
While he entered the 2024 bodybuilding season as a relatively unknown contender, that all changed for Fitzwater thanks to some impressive performances on stage. He claimed gold at the 2024 Detroit Pro to secure his ticket to the Mr. Olympia.
However, before testing himself against the best of the Open class, he gambled and competed against Nick Walker at the New York Pro. Fitzwater predicted he’d give ‘The Mutant’ a run for his money, and that’s exactly what happened. He narrowly took second place to Walker.
When the pressure was at its highest point, Fitzwater delivered a stunning Olympia debut performance in fourth place. Some even thought he beat Derek Lunsford who claimed bronze. He’s already earned his qualification for the 2025 Mr. Olympia, courtesy of his win over Chris Bumstead at the EVLS Prague Pro Now, with time before his next contest, he peeled back the curtain on his steroid cycle.

Bodybuilder Martin Fitzwater Discusses His Current Steroid Cycle While Speaking W/ Kenny KO
In a recent Instagram post, Fitzwater revealed he’s bigger than he’s ever been and discussed his steroid cycle.
“I’m the biggest I’ve ever been for sure,” shared Fitzwater.
“So what’s the cycle right now?” asks Kenny KO.
“Just test and EQ again,” he replied.
“Pretty low dose?” asks Kenny.
“About 700 of both, a little GH, running six IUs right now. And that’s it.”
He plans to improve his physique further for the Mr. Olympia, with hopes to secure a position above fourth place.
“We got fourth last year, so we got to move up [in placings], right. First thing is first, we got Pittsburgh Pro. Nick Walker beat me last year. He’s supposed to do it this year. So hopefully I can get that W.”
If Fitzwater wants to reign supreme at Jim Manion’s Pittsburgh Pro, he’ll have a stacked lineup to contend with. In addition to Walker, fans are speculating that Good Vito, James Hollingshead, and Michal Krizo will enter the event.
Fitzwater has made significant leaps in the IFBB Pro League as of late. Given his honesty and rapid improvements, he’s certainly in good standing to register a jaw-dropping season in the sport moving forward.
