The 2021 IFBB Chicago Pro takes place July 23rd-24th, in Atlanta, Georgia. With just a few days to go until the contest, Roelly Winklaar made the surprise announcement that he would be competing here.
Fans were gutted to hear that the first time we would see Winklaar on stage in 2021, was going to be the Arnold Classic. To be clear, this show is a crazy stacked one, but with just the Men’s Open winner getting invited to the Olympia, fans were hoping to see him compete early and try to qualify before then.
These people are getting their wish though, as the official competitor list for the 2021 IFBB Chicago Pro has been revealed. Days out from the contest, this has revealed that Roelly will be competing here, as well as the Arnold in September.
How Will Roelly Winklaar Stack Up At The Chicago Pro?
Initially it seemed that the 2021 IFBB Chicago Pro would be all about Hunter Labrada, as he was the main name competing. However with the addition of Roelly Winklaar, as well as Olympia veteran Maxx Charles, things have gotten a lot more interesting.

All three of these men are IFBB Pro show winners, with each having earned their shot at the Olympia throne. While they all offer a different package, it will be interesting to see how they stack up.
One thing is clear though; whether Winklaar, Labrada, Charles, or someone else wins the Chicago Pro, they will have to fight to get that victory. This will not be a gimme for anyone, no matter how the contest shakes out.
