Lou Ferrigno: Incredible Hulk is an actor, author, and retired bodybuilder. Lou was born in Brooklyn on November 9th, 1951. Lou has always been interested in fitness and bodybuilding since he started weight training when he was just 15 years old. Lou’s love for fitness led him to compete in the Mr. America contest three times before finally winning it at age 20. Lou went on to become a professional athlete after that win by entering into the 1970s professional wrestling circuit as Hulk Hogan‘s opponent under the ring name “The Incredible Hulk.”
Lou’s wrestling career was cut short by a serious injury, but that didn’t stop him from pursuing his other passion: acting. Lou has starred in many movies and TV shows over the years, most notably playing the role of The Hulk in the CBS tv series “The Incredible Hulk.” Lou is also an author and has written several fitness books.
