The qualification period for the 2026 Mr. Olympia is closing fast, and competitors are determined to stamp their tickets. In a YouTube video from June 11, bodybuilder Tonio Burton laid out his top five Men’s Open predictions for the upcoming 2026 Toronto Pro.
At the 2025 Toronto Pro, Sasan Heirati used his dry conditioning and balanced proportions to claim gold. Heirati has opted not to compete at this year’s event, paving the way for a new titleholder to emerge. Quinton Eriya stands out among the favorites.
He paid his dues with a busy bodybuilding season last year. Eriya competed in five IFBB Pro League contests, including the Tampa Pro, Texas Pro, Italy Pro, Europa Pro, and France Pro, all of which saw him secure a spot on the podium. He was unable to qualify for his first Mr. Olympia appearance, but he hopes to change that in the coming days.
It’s not a one-man show; fans expect contender Eric Wood to shine. He gained considerable momentum courtesy of his breakout performance at the 2026 Legion Sports Fest Pro. While Wood didn’t lay claim to the title, he managed to give Tonio Burton a run for his money en route to second place. Looking ahead, Burton isn’t counting him out but believes he’ll have his hands full with Eriya.

Beyond Eriya and Wood, fans also anticipate a strong performance from Blessing Awodibu. “The Boogieman” has already competed four times this season, with his best showing at the 2026 Detroit Pro. He finished runner-up behind Mohamed Foda.
Quinton Eriya has trained in good company as he aims to compete at the biggest show of the year. He took on an intense superset arm workout with former 2024 Mr. Olympia champ Samson Dauda. During the session, Dauda offered Eriya key preacher curl tips to grow bigger biceps.
The Toronto Pro goes down on June 14, and all roads lead to this year’s ‘Super Bowl of Bodybuilding.’ Olympia President Dan Solomon announced that the show is bringing back the ‘arena experience’ for fans and athletes. Don’t miss the 2026 Mr. Olympia, set for September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
