In the headlining act, the Men’s Open division displayed their best on Friday night, March 1 for prejudging at the 2024 Arnold Classic. Hadi Choopan and Samson Dauda are fighting for first place at the Men’s Open prejudging for the 2024 Arnold Classic on Day 1.
The lineup for the 2024 Arnold Classic has dominated discussions online as the former 2022 Mr. Olympia champion Hadi Choopan was out for blood after surrendering his title to Derek Lunsford last November. However, ‘The Persian Wolf’ was tasked with facing the reigning 2023 AC champ Samson Dauda, who was fresh off two wins in Europe.
The first callout saw Hadi Choopan dominate with his patented dry conditioning. With many, including the commentators, suggesting he was harder than the Olympia in 2023, it was evident Choopan brought a next-level look, eager to assert himself as a title contender. Samson Dauda also displayed exceptional detail and improvements.
In addition, John Delarosa, Antoine Vaillant, James Hollingshead, and Rafael Brandao put on a compelling case for pushing into the podium as first callout participants. As for the second callout, Mohamed Shaaban, Justin Rodriguez, Akim Williams, and Marcello De Angelis all shined with outstanding muscle volume, detail, and fullness.
The final callout saw Hadi Choopan and Samson Dauda put on a show for fans. Choopan’s conditioning and Dauda’s fullness were major talking points during the finals. Fans look forward to seeing how the action finishes tomorrow night!
