Bodybuilder Michal ‘Krizo’ Krizanek‘s bodybuilding season is continuing to take shape. In a YouTube video from June 8, 2026, he confirmed his entry for the Prague Pro and revealed his game plan for the upcoming Mr. Olympia contest.

After bouncing back from a shoulder injury in 2024, Krizo has made up for lost time. At the 2025 British Grand Prix Pro, he dominated the field and secured his Olympia qualification early. Despite the triumph, the Slovakian native pushed on, aiming to extend his winning streak.

He came close, but narrowly took second place behind Tonio Burton at the stacked New York Pro. Many believe Krizo’s posing held him back from gold, prompting him to focus more on stage presentation.

He later got revenge against Burton at the Pittsburgh Pro, becoming only the second Open athlete to win the event. Looking ahead, Krizo is locked into Olympia preparations and doesn’t think numbers on the scale will dictate his chances.

Michal Krizo to Compete at 2026 Prague Pro, Lays Out His Goal for the Mr. Olympia

In the video, Krizo confirmed his entry for the Prague Pro, scheduled for October 10-11 in the Czech Republic. As for his Mr. Olympia strategy, he shared that his focus is on presenting a sharper, fuller physique.

“After Olympia Prague, EVLS. I will try to come in even better shape than Pittsburgh. That is my goal. To come a bit sharper, fuller, and the weight doesn’t even have to be higher. If I come in better quality, sharper, at the same weight… it will be good.”

He believes slight adjustments to his Pittsburgh Pro package could move him up the ladder at the Mr. Olympia:

“I have proven methods. What I did for Pittsburgh, I will try to do the same for Olympia, but I will try to come in a little bit better shape, a bit more shredded,” shared Michal Krizo.

Krizo’s momentum in the IFBB Pro League has not gone unnoticed. Bodybuilding legend Lee Priest recently broke down his chances at the ‘Super Bowl of Bodybuilding.’ He argued that Krizo and Burton could both finish in the top six. Beyond Priest, Jay Cutler has compared Krizo’s physique to former seven-time Olympia champ Phil Heath

Michal Krizo believes muscle quality and conditioning will be key to his success on the Mr. Olympia stage. The contest is set for September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
