Ryan Terry aims to make history with a fourth Men’s Physique Olympia title when he heads back to Las Vegas. In an August 9 YouTube video, he shared a shredded physique update and a back workout seven weeks before hitting the stage.

“It’s seven weeks till the Olympia.”

In 2023, Terry dethroned Erin Banks and took over the Men’s Physique Olympia throne. He successfully defended his title in 2024 and 2025, leaving him one victory away from tying Jeremy Buendia‘s record of four. Each season, Terry has showcased new improvements, from a tighter midsection to more detail in his arms.

With time to capitalize on an off-season, Terry intends to pick up where he left off last year. Looking ahead, the reigning three-time Men’s Physique Olympia champion offered an inside look at his training and progress before preparations reach the final stage.

During his second training session of the day, Terry discussed his daily workload. He started with cardio in the early morning, which he said has become non-negotiable while in prep:

“I’ve already done my training this morning at 5 o’clock for an hour and a half. So, too much in the morning; I should have waited and trained later this afternoon, but my body clock’s in prep now. I get up at 5:00 to do my cardio every morning, so that’s non-negotiable to do that.”

In addition to training breakdowns, Terry has been open about his nutrition leading up to his title defense. He broke down the 4,852-calorie diet helping him get stage-ready. Unlike many competitors, the three-time champ doesn’t count his calories in prep.

“I don’t typically count calories if I’m honest. I work on weight of food. Each week as I’m in prep, I just reduce the weight of food. I don’t typically go around calories.”

Terry continues to set the standard in the stacked Men’s Physique division. Time will tell if he emerges with his fourth Men’s Physique Olympia title when the event returns from September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
