Bodybuilding’s latest rivalry continues to heat up as Blessing Awodibu and Michal Krizo go back and forth on social media. After Awodibu warned Krizo not to ‘talk smack,’ the mass monster clapped back during a recent training session.
In the past, Blessing Awodibu also had a fierce rivalry with rising star Nick Walker. Initially, there was hostility, but things eventually cooled down. Walker went on to win back-to-back contests last year, while Blessing struggled to find the podium at the two shows he competed in.
This year’s bodybuilding season saw Blessing Awodibu on a quest for redemption. He won two consecutive titles at the 2022 Indy Pro and the New York Pro. While he’s earned his invitation to compete at Mr. Olympia, the Men’s Open standout doesn’t mind stirring things up with fellow bodybuilders when he’s not competing.
Awodibu recently argued with top Olympia finisher Iain Valliere. The two went back and forth in a discussion centered around whether judges should favor size or aesthetics more at bodybuilding shows. “The Boogieman” is adamant that ‘soon’ judges will prefer to award aesthetics and appealing shape instead of size.
Awodibu’s latest rivalry, however, is with a bodybuilder who has yet to earn his Pro card, Michal Krizo. And despite that fact, many figureheads in the sport view him as a legitimate contender in the Men’s Open division, namely Jay Cutler and Milos Sarcev. They both believe Krizo is destined to have a major impact on the IFBB Pro League as soon as he turns Pro.

During a Story time with Krizo and Coach video, Krizo reflected on losing to Awodibu in 2017 at an amateur show. Awodibu called out Krizo in the comment section of the video.
Check out Blessing Awodibu’s comments below:
“Haha good memory but don’t start talking smack, you didn’t beat me and you will never beat me lol . I’ll give you some advice though, for you to win or place top 3 in any big IFBB pro League shows, you will win small europeans shows no problem but to do well here in the US,
you need a better midsection, better back & crazy condition, big arms n round shoulders isn’t enough. You awesome though n hopefully one day we’ll be on that stage again together. ” Blessing Awodibu wrote.
In Krizo’s most recent training/posing session, he responded to Awodibu. He called him a clown and said while Blessing was busy on the internet, he was winning five Arnold Classic titles in the IFBB Elite Pro League.
“He’s gotta be watching [my videos] then. He’s afraid I’ll whoop his ass. What a clown with those pencil legs. He might be up for a surprise,” said Krizo. “Tell Blessing that while he was making a clown of himself on the internet, I won the Arnold Classic five times.”
“They’re all only seeing photos — they haven’t seen the real me. [Jay] Cutler and [Milos] Sarcev have seen it. It’s something else. Even when I take a picture and post it and then while I look in the mirror, the picture isn’t even 50 percent. I look fat in those pictures,” Michal Krizo shared.
After promising to ‘whoop’ Blessing Awodibu, Krizo refocused his efforts on his training/posing session. He is expected to compete this weekend at the 2022 Amateur Olympia Italy contest.
