Agata Sitko is regarded as the greatest pound-for-pound women’s powerlifter currently, and her recent performance shows why. Agata competed at the 2025 IPF Sheffield Powerlifting Championships, which took place on January 26th. Sitko ended up setting new Bench Press, Deadlift, and Total U69KG IPF World Records to win the women’s overall division for the second year in a row.

Agata Sitko’s Full Performance Overview

Agata Sitko came into the 2025 IPF Sheffield Powerlifting Championships as the absolute favorite for the title. She justified the expectations, having successfully completed eight out of nine lifts. In turn, she managed to beat the likes of Karlina Tongotea and Sonita Muluh.

Squat

Agata Sitko developed a game plan for the competition and recognized that all she needed to do on the squat was equal her competition PR. So, she comfortably built up the weight on the first two attempts and loaded 210 kilograms (462.9 pounds) on her final one. As expected, she locked out the squat and set an incredible foundation for the remainder of her performance.

  • 197.5 kilograms (435.4 pounds)
  • 205 kilograms (451.9 pounds)
  • 210 kilograms (462.9 pounds)

Bench Press

The bench press is Agata Sitko’s most prominent event, as she is levels above everyone else when it comes to upper body strength. So, her opener was already extremely heavy at 150 kilograms (330.7 pounds). Consequently, Agata’s second attempt of 156 kilograms (343.9 pounds) exceeded the World Record at the time.

However, that was not the end of Agata Sitko’s incredible display, as she increased the weight to 158 kilograms (348.3 pounds) on her third attempt. Competing in the raw division, Agata was only allowed to use a pair of wrist wraps. However, she did not need any assistance to make easy work of her final attempt, extending the IPF World Record.

  • 150 kilograms (330.7 pounds)
  • 156 kilograms (343.9 pounds)
  • 158 kilograms (348.3 pounds) — U69KG IPF World Record

*Agata Sitko held the previous U69KG Raw Total IPF World Record of 154-kg (339.5-lb) which she set at the 2024 IPF Sheffield Powerlifting Championships.

Deadlift

Continuing her record-breaking spree, Agata Sitko opened up with a 249-kilogram (548.9-pound) deadlift to chip the IPF World Record. That moved very smoothly, which is why Agata made a jump to 260 kilograms (573.2 pounds) to further improve the record. She then completed the lift by using a sumo stance and a hook grip, only having slight issues during her lockout phase. The Polish powerlifter then tried to add another 9 kilograms (19.8 pounds) to the bar but was unable to complete the lift.

  • 249 kilograms (548.9 pounds)
  • 260 kilograms (573.2 pounds) — U69KG IPF World Record
  • Unsuccessful — 269 kilograms (593 pounds)

*Agata Sitko held the previous U69KG Raw Total IPF World Record of 248.5-kg (547.8-lb) which she set at the 2024 IPF Sheffield Powerlifting Championships.

Total — 628 kilograms (1,384.5 pounds) — U69KG IPF World Record

*Agata Sitko held the previous U69KG Raw Total IPF World Record of 600-kg (1,322.8-lb) which she set at the 2024 IPF Sheffield Powerlifting Championships.
