Erholove Izobodo-John has established herself as the biggest female powerlifting prospect in Great Britain. She has taken part in numerous prestigious competitions and never fails to amaze those who watch her. Erholove has especially impressed with her deadlifting abilities, as it is the event that she performs the best in. Well, she has just reached a brand new achievement at the 2023 British Selections, which took place on November 26th. There, she managed to lock out a 260-kilogram (573.2-pound) deadlift on her final attempt. It turned out that this lift was the heaviest in-competition deadlift performed by a female in British Powerlifting (BP) History.

The competition gathered some of the greatest powerlifters from Great Britain, making it quite an interesting show. Despite the high expectations, Erholove Izobodo-John still managed to surprise everyone with a lift that could not have been predicted.

Erholove Izobodo-John first made sure her sumo stance was positioned correctly and that she was centered above the bar. She then locked in her lifting belt, pulled the slack out of the bar, and initiated her deadlift. The bar loaded with 260 kilograms (573.2 pounds) then flew off the ground, while Erholove did not show any signs of struggle up until the lockout. Once everything was done, she walked away with the heaviest female raw deadlift in British Powerlifting, regardless of weight class.
