How these rankings are calculated
Rankings are built from documented contest results across pro and amateur bodybuilding, grouped by athlete and normalized by division.
Olympia titles are counted inside the division they were won in. The 212 division counts as its own division, so Flex Lewis's seven 212 Olympia titles are 212 titles, not Men's Open titles. Title counts are deduped by year, and the all-divisions board covers every division except the 212, so Flex Lewis appears under the Men's 212 filter rather than in the all-divisions total.
A division filter includes any athlete with a documented result in that division, and each athlete's Olympia-title count is scoped to titles won in that same division only.
- Primary source priority is NPC News Online for 2011+ IFBB Pro results, then IFBB Pro League, Arnold Sports, MuscleMemory, and Wikipedia for historical gaps.
- Win rate requires a competition-history threshold so one-off winners do not outrank long-career athletes by accident.

Every way this archive ranks a bodybuilder
There is no single ranking of bodybuilders, so this page carries all of them. Each card names what its board counts, shows the current top three and opens the page that holds the full list. The first five are plain tallies of documented results. The last three apply a published formula on top of those tallies, and each states its own.
Olympia Titles
First-place finishes at Olympia contests, counted once per year inside the division they were won in. The all-divisions view covers every division except the 212, whose titles show under the Men's 212 filter.

Each board above ranks one measure, so none of them shows whether its leader is a specialist or an all-rounder. This table does: 30 athletes hold a top-50 place on at least two of the 5 counted boards, and no athlete holds a place on every one of them. A blank cell means the athlete is not in that board's top 50, not that the figure is missing.

What is not settled
A board is only as complete as the results behind it. An athlete whose early record was never digitised sits lower than their career warrants, and no ordering here corrects for that.
