Bodybuilding legend Dexter Jackson moved on from professional competition years ago but maintains a high level of personal fitness. In a recent post made on Instagram, Jackson shared a jacked update boasting his huge arm muscle development indicating a potential return at the Masters Olympia.

Dexter Jackson enjoyed one of the most successful careers in bodybuilding during his nearly three-decade-long run as a competitor. The IFBB Pro pulled off a massive upset by defeating four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler to secure the coveted Sandow trophy at the 2008 Mr. Olympia. He dominated the stage of the Arnold Classic contests, setting the record for the most wins in the competition’s history with five titles under his belt (2005, 2006, 2008, 2013, 2015).

Jackson is celebrated for his longevity. Among many others, he holds the distinction of making 20 Mr. Olympia appearances with his final one coming in 2020. Following a fourth-place finish at the 2012 Mr. Olympia, Jackson made his way to the Masters Olympia contest and took home the top prize.

‘The Blade’ is one of the few competitors to have maintained an impressive physique in his later years. He likes to stay active even in retirement and regularly motivates his followers with workout clips and tips. In Feb. 2022, Jackson shared a grueling chest and arms workout on his social media channels. A few days later, he ignited talks of a potential return with a jacked physique update weighing 210 pounds.

Dexter Jackson never seems to miss a training session. He gave fans a look into his heavy back training routine last April. He appeared to be in fine form and boasted a lean physique while sharing his favorite biceps 21s session. He continued to defy Father Time with intense workouts. He showed off his ripped physique with a slim waist last October.

With the Masters Olympia set to make a comeback, there’s a lot of speculation about who would participate in the show’s return after 11 years. The organizers announced the overall prize money at $229,000 last month.

Dexter Jackson shows off jacked arms at 53 Years Old – is Masters Olympia on the horizon?

In a recent Instagram post, Dexter Jackson looked insanely jacked while performing an intense arm workout. Since Jackson was the winner of the last edition and given his impressive physique, it might be an indication a return for the Masters Olympia could be in the works.

Bodybuilder Lee Priest intended to compete at the event but would not be able to due to chest atrophy. He backed Victor Martinez to potentially come out on top of the contest. Martinez voiced his concerns about the possible issue of insufficient prize money being up for grabs. While he’s interested in the idea of competing again, he would only do so if the reward justified his work.

Dexter Jackson stands as the winningest men’s athlete in the history of bodybuilding. If he chooses to get back in action, it would come as no surprise he adds another Masters Olympia title under his belt.
