Bodybuilder Michal ‘Krizo’ Krizanek is on track to present his all-time best look at the 2026 Mr. Olympia. In an August 27 post, he dropped an insanely vascular physique update four weeks before stepping onstage.

Krizo stands out in the Men’s Open class with bursting fullness and hard muscle. He’s steadily climbed the ranks in the IFBB Pro League and has improved each season. The Slovakian native has garnered comparisons to seven-time Olympia champ Phil Heath, thanks to his freaky muscle fibers.

Krizo picked up momentum during the 2026 bodybuilding season after taking silver at Steve Weinberger’s New York Pro. With polished posing and better conditioning, he avenged his loss to Tonio Burton at the Pittsburgh Pro, becoming only the second Men’s Open athlete to secure gold at the contest.

Krizo has a huge opportunity in front of him. The 2026 Mr. Olympia roster took a massive hit after Hadi Choopan withdrew from the contest. This leaves room for Krizo to jump up placings and challenge for the first callout in September. Given his latest progress photo, his chances are looking good.

Bodybuilder Michal Krizo Stuns With Shredded Physique Update Ahead of 2026 Mr. Olympia

“4 weeks out 🥵🫡💪” Michal Krizo shared

Despite Choopan’s absence, Krizo will still have his work cut out for him in Vegas. If he wants to improve on his seventh-place finish from 2023, his presentation and posing transitions will be critical to his success. Cracking the top five will present huge challenges, especially with names like Derek Lunsford, Andrew Jacked, Samson Dauda, Nick Walker, and Martin Fitzwater in the mix.

According to Krizo, bringing a shredded physique to the Mr. Olympia is a must. He recently broke down his game plan for the event and explained that it depends on a shapelier physique:

“To come a bit sharper, fuller, and the weight doesn’t even have to be higher. If I come in better quality, sharper, at the same weight… it will be good,” he said. “I have proven methods. What I did for Pittsburgh, I will try to do the same for Olympia, but I will try to come in a little bit better shape, a bit more shredded.”

Thus far, Krizo has improved his placing at the Mr. Olympia each time he’s competed. Time will tell if he can do that again when the contest returns to Las Vegas from September 24-27.
