One of the things that has made Stefi Cohen such a beloved figure over the years, is her willingness to try different things. She put that to the test recently, by trying her hand at arm wrestling.
There are a lot of things that can be said when describing Stefi Cohen. You can start by mentioning the fact that she has a doctorate in physical therapy, or perhaps you would mention the fact that she has multiple powerlifting world records in her resume. Not only that, but she is regularly seen working out with all kinds of elite athletes, from bodybuilders and strongman to fellow powerlifters, and even WWE wrestlers.
Most recently, Dr. Cohen got to work alongside 8-time Swedish arm wrestling champion Sarah Bäckman. Accompanied by her friend, a bodybuilder named Kristen Nun, Stefi’s most recent YouTube video documents her training with Bäckman. You can see the champ teaching Cohen about arm wrestling form, before putting her newfound skills to the test.
The video starts with some warm-ups, as Sarah helps Stefi loosen her shoulders and chest. From there, the trio discuss proper technique and form, explaining that the idea is not to push your arm to the side, but rather pull it towards yourself. Then it is time for Cohen’s boyfriend, Hayden Bowe to go head-to-head with Bäckman, to try to beat her in a match of arm wrestling. After getting squashed in a couple of practice matches, Hayden is actually able to beat her, albeit barely. However he was left marked by the thumb imprint of Sarah, left in his hand from her insane grip.

Now it is time for Stefi Cohen and Kristen Nun to face off against each other. Kristen was able to win the first match with relative ease. However the second time, Stefi went full force to fight the arm, even using her legs to try to get leverage. In the end though, she would lose the second match as well.
This was a fun new experience for Stefi Cohen, and she seemed to really enjoy herself. Sarah Bäckman was able to teach a lot, and Stefi was keen to learn. Now anytime she has to face a man in arm wrestling, she will be far more prepared.
