At last year’s Olympia, Chris Bumstead from Canada finally broke through to win his first Classic Physique title after finishing second the two years prior, to Breon Ansley. His win was well-deserved and we’d all have to agree he’s a phenomenal champion. Well, we expect 2020 to be just as big for the young champ and because he regularly shares his routines with fans, we’ll be able to see his progress along the way.

But as of currently, Bumstead is in his offseason as he won’t be competing at the 2020 Arnold Classic so he’ll use this time to improve upon his already top-tier physique, of which he recently posted a few clips from a quad-focused leg workout that would have anyone crawling out the front door.

You can watch all of the clips by scrolling through the post below…

To accompany the clips, Bumstead wrote the following…

Clips from today’s quad focused leg day. Finished with body weight lunges to failure (not shown here) really controlling the negative and flexing my quads as hard as I can the whole way through. Needless to say mylegs were turning into Jello so took the elevator rather than the stairs💀 My knees have never felt this good this deep into an offseason, so I’m super happy to be training pain free. Tree trunks coming in hot🥵 New @gymshark 5 inch arrival shorts. Link in bio my for training app with daily updated workouts and more🙏🏼

It was a tough session but he’ll need all the improvements he can make to come back and hopefully repeat his Olympia win this year. But we’re confident Chris Bumstead knows exactly what he needs to do this offseason to bring his best come time…

Here’s another video from Bumstead where he’s killing a deadlift session:
