The 2021 Mr. Olympia takes place October 7th-10th, in Orlando, Florida. Kicking off the last day of this massive bodybuilding contest, was the Prejudging for the Classic Physique Division.
The Classic Physique Division is growing in popularity over the last few years, with a large portion of that coming with the booming popularity of two-time defending champ Chris Bumstead. Aside from that, there are also those who feel like this is the division of the future for bodybuilding, as some feel it safer than the mass monsters found in Open competition.
Ahead of the 2021 Mr. Olympia, Bumstead had some heated exchanges with the likes of former champ Breon Ansley, and 2020 runner-up Terrence Ruffin. This back and forth even saw Breon strip off his shirt and give a preview of his physique, much to the disinterest of Chris and Terrence, but to the excitement of fans.
The top of this division is stacked with a wide array of elite bodybuilders, all of whom are vying for the top position at the 2021 Olympia. The first step of this came when a total of 27 competitors took the stage on Saturday morning, to go through the rounds of Prejudging.
