The 2021 IPF Powerlifting World Champion in the 76 kg category, Jessica Buettner, is working hard despite it being the holiday season. In a recent video she shared on her Instagram, Jessica crushes 405 lbs (183.7 kg) deadlift for speedy 12 reps that got us winded. The repetitions looked very easy for her, and it looked like there was more left in the tank. Buettner used lifting straps and a lifting belt, accompanied by a conventional stance.

Jessica Buettner’s Achievements

Jessica’s greatest success came this year, as she managed to claim the win and three world records at the 2021 IPF World Classic Powerlifting Championship.

  • Squat: 210.5 kg (464.5 lbs) World Record
  • Bench Press: 105 kg (231.5 lbs)
  • Deadlift: 247.5 kg (545 lbs) World Record

This was not the first time Jessica got some success in the World Championships, as she won silver in the 72 kg – Raw class at 2019 IPF World Championship in Helsingborg. Jessica also broke a few Junior World Records, and still holds the Deadlift Junior World Record of 227.5 kg (501.6 lbs), which she broke back in 2018.

Jessica had also done and published some massive lifts in the gym, and one of the most impressive ones is her 255 kg (563 lbs) deadlift. This lift is 5 kg more than her official (done in competition) PR of 250 kg (551.2 lbs) at the CPU Nationals, back in March 2020.

She is currently one of the best powerlifters in the world, and at only 26-years-old, there is a lot of potential for even greater success.
