Kiersten Scurlock is going through a very good period of her career, as she is constantly getting better. Just a few months ago, at the 2021 WRPF Showdown held on September 25-26, 2021, she managed to put up a great performance which earned her second place. Kiersten got PRs in all three lifts, but most notably the squat with a 262.5 kg (578 lbs) lift. But in the latest video, Kiersten is seen squatting 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) more than that, in training. She currently competess in the +90 kg category.

Check out this gigantic squat session of 265 kg (584 lbs) that Kiersten showcased on her Instagram page recently. She struggled a bit in the middle of the rep, but managed to push through and lock out. Kiersten used a lifting belt, knee sleeves and wrist wraps to aid her in the lift.

Kiersten seems to be satisfied with how things are currently going, as she pointed out in the caption of the video.

“Man I am so f***ing happy with how this prep went and incredibly lucky to have the best people in my corner!” wrote Scurlock.

Kiersten has announced that this was the last heavy squat session before her next meets. She will first compete at the Hybrid Showdown 4 scheduled to happen on January 16th, 2022. And the second meet will be The Ghost Clash, scheduled for February 12-13, 2022.

Kiersten Scurlock’s Recent Lifts

Besides the huge squat, Kiersten is not lacking in any of the other two lifts. She stated in the caption of one video that her total from last week came to 669.5 kg (1476 lbs).

Kiersten’s last heavy bench press session was pretty good, as she got a top single of 157.5 kg (347 lbs). This equals her best competition bench press lift. She only used wrist wraps.

Kiersten Scurlock looks absolutely impressive in the latest videos, and she will certainly set some great results in the meets she intends to compete at. Kiersten is a great addition to the Hybrid Showdown 4 roster, which includes some big names like Jamal Browner and John Haack.
