Evan Singleton’s season has been extremely turbulent, as he has gone through multiple setbacks but also had some of the greatest results in his career so far. So, many were excited to see what he was capable of doing at the 2025 Rogue Invitational, which is set to take place on October 31 – November 2 in Aberdeen. However, Evan unfortunately suffered a pec tear, which forced him to withdraw from the competition, as per his Instagram announcement.
Evan Singleton seemingly got injured during the filming of Eddie Hall’s TV show called “Battle of the Beast”. It consisted of multiple challenges, made to test some of the strongest men in the world, which included Evan. It is unclear exactly how or when exactly the injury occurred, but Evan did point out that Eddie Hall made sure to help him in his journey to recover.
Evan Singleton also had to undergo surgery in order to get his pec reattached, as this procedure should allow him to retain full functionality and strength once it fully heals up. The intervention went well, and Evan has already started his recovery process. It is projected to take around eight to nine months, but Evan hopes to get back to the competition floor sooner than that.
“I just wanted to make the announcement official. I am going to be pulling out of the Rogue Invitational for the 2025 year because this past week I have suffered a ruptured pectoral tendon in my left arm, and it is completely detached. So I am going to need surgery.
It’s a real kick because the events for the Rogue were good for me. I was really feeling good and feeling strong. Unfortunately, this is one of those things that you just can’t really see coming. It just kind of happens.
But I’ll do the same thing that I always do. I will recover, I will rehab myself, I will bounce back as fast as I can, as smart as I can, and I will come back to Strongman for the 2026 season ready to redeem myself. Let’s put it that way…

I will be having my tendon reattached to my shoulder so I can gain all my strength back after a long recovery process. But unfortunately, that means that I’m going to have to pull out of the Rogue Invitational.
And it’s kind of up in the air, obviously, but it’s not looking good for Arnold or Worlds. So I’m not going to throw anything out there. I’m not going to say that I will or will not be competing in Arnold and World’s Strongest Man in 2026, but… That’s just the reality of the situation that I’m in.
I will say this. I wanted to give a personal special shout-out to Eddie Hall because he comes from a background where he’s been doing this for years, and he’s been in the position that I’ve been in, and he understands how important it is and how seriously this needs to be taken.
He has been doing everything he could possibly be doing on top of pulling money from his own pocket to be able to make sure that I get the surgery as fast as possible,” said Evan Singleton.
