The 2025 Rogue Invitational Strongman & Strongwoman competition took place on October 31 – November 1 in Aberdeen, Scotland. It consisted of six events and featured a total of nine men and 10 women. Ultimately, after two days of intense competition, Mitchell Hooper and Inez Carrasquillo were crowned as champions in their respective divisions.

Mitchell Hooper’s Path to Victory

Mitchell Hooper has been the face of the Rogue Invitational Strongman competition in recent times, having won the title in 2023 and 2024. So, he came into the show with an aspiration to defend his title once again and show that he is back to his best after a streak of underwhelming results by his standards. In doing so, Hooper cut his offseason short, as he felt recovered enough to battle for the title at the 2025 Rogue Invitational.

  • Wagon Wheel Axle Deadlift: First-Place
  • Viking Press: Second-Place
  • Yoke Escalator: Sixth-Place
  • Circus Press Medley: Second-Place
  • Power Drive: First-Place
  • Mons Meg Stones: First-Place

Day One

Day one of the 2025 Rogue Invitational started great for Mitchell Hooper, since he secured a win in the Axle Deadlift event without even using all three attempts. Specifically, he locked out 1,050 pounds (476.2 kilograms) on his second attempt, which turned out to be enough to top the rankings. He then placed second on the Viking Press, scoring 18 reps to beat everyone apart from Trey Mitchell.

Hooper, however, dropped some points in the third event of the day, the Yoke Escalator. He easily completed the Yoke Carry, but his legs gave out when he needed to carry a 600-pound (272-kilogram) implement in the Power Stairs. So, he placed sixth, letting Trey Mitchell take the overall lead going into day two.

Day Two

Mitchell Hooper finished the Circus Medley in second place, once again being beaten by Trey Mitchell, who continued to increase his lead. However, the turnaround happened on the penultimate event of the 2025 Rogue Invitational, with Hooper utilizing Trey Mitchell’s slip-up to overtake him on the overall leaderboards. Hooper placed second, while Trey finished in seventh place. Lastly, Hooper won the Mons Megs Stones and officially defended his title.

Inez Carrasquillo’s Path to Victory

The inaugural edition of the Rogue Invitational Strongwoman competition took place in 2024, and the first winner of the show was none other than Inez Carrasquillo. So, she decided to come back again this year, even more determined to defend her title and show that she is arguably the strongest woman in the world.

  • Wagon Wheel Axle Deadlift: Seventh-Place
  • Viking Press: First-Place
  • Yoke Escalator: Third-Place
  • Circus Press Medley: First-Place
  • Power Drive: First-Place
  • Mons Meg Stones: Third-Place

Day One

Inez Carrasquillo kicked off the 2025 Rogue Invitational with her worst event, playing seventh in the Axle Deadlift. However, with that out of the way, Inez knew that she was capable of completing a comeback. She reinforced that belief with a win in the Viking Press, which already moved her a few spots up the leaderboard.

Inez Carrasquillo wrapped up day one of the competition with a third-place finish in the Yoke Escalator. This helped her solidify her spot in the top half of the rankings, but a lot of work still remained for day two.

Day Two

The second day of the 2025 Rogue Invitational could not have started better for Inez Carrasquillo, as she completely dominated the Viking Press and added ten points to her tally. She achieved 20 repetitions and left everyone amazed by her incredible upper body strength.

It got even better for Inez, since she also won the Power Drive event and extended her lead going into the final event of the competition. She closed out her performance with a third-place finish in the Mons Megs Stones to win the 2025 Rogue Invitational Strongwoman competition.

Moreover, by defending their titles, Hooper and Carrasquillo proved why they are easily two of the greatest athletes ever seen in their respective divisions.
