Eddie Hall is one of the most well-known figures in the Strongman community, recognized for his incredible static strength and his win at the 2017 World’s Strongest Man competition. However, nearly ten years have passed since his retirement and Eddie has still remained active in other sports. Most notably, he transitioned over to combat sports, where he achieved great success. Well, Eddie is reportedly getting ready to face none other than Tommy Fury in the boxing ring on June 13th as a part of a Misfits Boxing event.
The news of Eddie Hall and Tommy Fury’s rumored clash was first revealed by talkSPORT, who stated that the two will face off in a boxing ring at Manchester’s AO Arena on June 13. Hall has been focusing on MMA in recent times, but he is clearly ready to return to boxing for the first time since his loss against the 2018 World’s Strongest Man, Hafthor Bjornsson. The fight has not been officially confirmed by either side yet, but many believe that the rumors are true.
Eddie Hall’s recent interview with BobbyLAD increased the likelihood of the rumors actually being true, as the former World’s Strongest Man confirmed that he has got a fight coming up in June.
“I’ve got a fight coming up on June 13th in Manchester. That will be announced very, very soon,” said Hall.

Eddie Hall’s fighting experience has reached an avid level, as he has fought against some of the toughest men alive. It all started with a boxing match against his biggest rival, Hafthor Bjornsson. Following a loss in the boxing ring, Hall came to a conclusion that MMA suits him much better, as it allows him to fully utilize all of his abilities. So, he recorded a spectacular win in a 1 vs. 2 fight against the Neffati brothers and then scheduled a match against the 5x WSM champion and seasoned fighter, Mariusz Pudzianowski. While everyone believed it would be a difficult challenge for Hall, he ended up winning the match with a very quick knockout.
On the other hand, Tommy Fury holds a perfect record in boxing, having won all 11 of his matches, including those against famous YouTubers KSI and Jake Paul. His most recent match took place back in May 2025, when he beat Kenan Hanjalić via a unanimous decision. However, it is important to note that there is a significant weight difference between Fury and Hall, as the former Strongman exceeds his rival by over 100 pounds (45.5 kilograms).
Eddie Hall and Tommy Fury have collaborated with each other in the past, as they have spent an entire day together, swapped diets, practiced boxing, and sat down together for Hall’s podcast. Perhaps the most interesting and relevant part of their time spent together is when they decided to take a body punch from each other. Hall almost vomited after getting punched by Fury. On the other hand, Fury used a body protector when receiving a punch from Hall.

Eddie Hall has been hinting toward an MMA match against Dillon Danis for a long time. So, the recent developments between him and Tommy Fury have come as a surprise. However, there is no doubt that it will be a spectacular matchup, with size going in Hall’s favor, while Tommy Fury has the needed experience.
