Kiersten Scurlock is back to training after her participation in the Hybrid Showdown 4. She seems to be continuously improving and doing some massive lifts in the gym. The latest one is a 288 kg (635 lbs) squat, which she published on her Instagram account. Kiersten used knee wraps, wrist wraps, and a lifting belt as accessories for her lift. She used smelling salts to get her pumped for the squat. The squat required some effort, but judging by Kiersten’s facial expressions, it seemed quite comfortable for her.

Kiersten Scurlock also owns the All-Time Second-Heaviest Squat With Wraps of 302.5 kg (666.9 lbs), which she set at the 2021 UPA Hooligans Holiday Bash.

Kiersten Scurlock’s Next Competition

Kiersten recently competed in the USPA Hybrid Showdown 4, held on January 15-16, 2022 At HYBRID Performance Method Gym in Miami, Florida. Although she wasn’t very pleased with her performance, Kiersten grabbed a third-place finish in the women’s division. She also claimed the USPA World Record Squat of 265 kg (584 lbs), in the +90 kg category.

A few weeks ago, Kiersten announced on her Instagram that she was preparing for the 2022 Ghost Clash. This contest will contain a special category for knee wraps, and that is probably why Kiersten is squatting with equipment.

The Ghost Clash will be held in Miami, Florida, from February 12-13, 2022. The lineup for the competition is stacked and will certainly be very interesting to watch, while the prize pool for the competition will be $36,000. They will disperse the money evenly across 4 different categories.

Even though there are still a few more weeks to prepare, her squat is very close to her competition PR. It would not be surprising to see Kiersten improve even further and get closer to that All-Time Squat World Record.
