The 2022 Shaw Classic is the third edition of this competition and it is set to be bigger and better than ever before. The action will span across Aug. 13-14, 2022, at the Budweiser Center in Loveland, CO. We will get to see three former World’s Strongest Man winners step on the stage alongside 12 other elite Strongman athletes. They all strive for first place, but the winner will be decided through performances in eight events.

ADL Production will broadcast the event, but there will be multiple ways to get access to it. You have the possibility of purchasing the stream through the ADL website, but the members of the Shaw Strength Club have an easier option. So, everyone who was a member of the Shaw Strength Club before 5 p.m. MST on Aug. 2 can watch the stream via the aforementioned club.

The 2022 Shaw Classic’s greatest attraction is the Pro division, which will cost $14.99. This is the division that will feature the likes of Brian Shaw, Zydrunas Savickas, Oleksii Novikov, and much more. However, The 2022 Shaw Classic also has an Open division, which will feature Strongman and Strongwoman that have gone through the qualifying process. To view the Open division on ADL Live would cost you $4.99. In addition, those who pay to watch the show will have the recording of it available for one year.

What To Expect

If you are debating whether to purchase the Livestream or not, here is what you could expect from the 2022 Shaw Classic. Firstly, the money from the Livestreams will be added to the prize pool, so by purchasing the pass you contribute to the athletes and not the organizations. In addition, the Shaw Classic has proved to be one of the greatest and most interesting strength shows in the yearly Strongman repertoire.

Apart from the main man, Brian Shaw, you will also get to see another legend of the sport, Zydrunas Savickas, who is also a 4x World’s Strongest Man. However, the 2022 Shaw Classic will probably be one of the most intense competitions yet, since the lineup is absolutely stacked. Oleksii Novikov and Luke Stoltman are probably the other two favorites, while many athletes like Mitchell Hooper will try to surprise everyone. Trey Mitchell will be attempting to defend his title from last year, but he has a massive challenge in front of him.

The roster for the 2022 Shaw Classic was supposed to be even better, but the reigning 2x World’s Strongest Man, Tom Stoltman, failed to travel to the USA, so he withdrew.
