About the Powerlifting Database

This is the most complete powerlifting search tool available, built on the OpenPowerlifting public-domain dataset. Every number here comes from a real competition: verified lifts, official results, and scoresheets from sanctioned meets going back to 1964. No gym lifts, no self-reported numbers - just competition data from over 1,000,000 lifters across 60,000+ meets.

The database covers every major federation: IPF, USAPL, USPA, CPU, RPS, IPA, APF, WPC, and hundreds of national and regional organizations across 200+ countries. Whether you are looking up your own meet history, researching a competitor before a big event, or tracking how the sport has evolved over decades, everything is here.

How to Search

Type any lifter's name in the search bar to find their competition history. Switch to the Meets tab to look up competitions by name, federation, country, or year. Use the filters on the left to narrow by equipment (Raw, Wraps, Single-ply, Multi-ply), weight class, federation, country, and drug-tested status.

The Rankings tab shows all-time and year-specific leaderboards using DOTS, Wilks, IPF GL Points, and Glossbrenner scoring. These formulas let you compare lifters across different bodyweights on a level playing field. Learn how scoring formulas work.

Data Source

All results come from OpenPowerlifting, a community-driven project that collects and publishes competition results under a public-domain license. The dataset is updated regularly as new meet results come in. If you spot an error, report it to the OpenPowerlifting project.

Elite lifters (marked with a star) have full profile pages with complete competition histories, personal records, and progression charts. Check the world records page to see the all-time bests in every lift and weight class, or use the strength standards to find out where your own lifts rank.
